Description
The Duplex Sleeveless Jacket is a structured, oversized vest constructed with menswear tailoring. The jacket features a double-layer effect where the outer layer is cut and crafted from a sturdy stretch wool and the interior with refined Italian wool twill. The high side slits allows you to access comfortably your pants pockets for an effortless look.
This vest gives you even more of an elongated and streamlined look when simply worn with monotone colors and minimalistic pieces such as, mid-long length dresses or simple trousers. The vest will become an all round year staple in your wardrobe.
Inspiration
For her Fall/Winter 2015 collection, Chai went looking for elaborated textiles and stumbled upon sophisticated Suri alpaca and Tuscano wool. She experimented with color and decided that this autumn would consist of well-aged bourbon, mauve-toned camel, and rich, rustic blues.
In tribute to her first two seasons of growth, she found reinterpretations of her most popular pieces—wide cropped trousers, linear coats, origami capes, and boxy, effortless tops in luxurious materials.
