This artwork 'Every Woman - Etude 3' is a print of an original watercolor painting by Soumountha Keophilavong. The painting is inspired by a photo portrait Soumountha took and recomposed as a 'future portrait' in a surrounding often re-imagined.

'The 'Every Woman' series is an ode to women, girls and their strength. I shot photo portraits of girls and painted my imagined version of them as grown up women. I tried to capture the essence of their younger selves in those adults. It is a hope that the girls never get to loose their fearlessness or youthful fire. The imagined surrounding is created to be a reflection of the women's inner emotions'.
