'2020 has unleashed a lot of suffering for many of us and as I failed to use words to voice the pain by the double pandemic of Covid-19 and systemic racism I took the brush and painted my loved ones fighting and coping. I especially thought of my children and their friends. I painted this series and these historic moments from their point of view.
